Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, the Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, preparing accurate proposals, and supporting the full sales cycle from lead generation through to order fulfillment.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in industrial environments, manages their time well, and consistently follows through on commitments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development
  • Present and sell JAMMBCO products and services to prospective and existing clients
  • Identify and pursue high-quality leads generated through field activity, web inquiries, referrals, and assigned accounts
  • Develop action plans, schedules, and sales targets aligned to growth objectives
  • Prepare professional presentations, quotes, and proposals with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Conduct regular site visits to build relationships and understand customer needs

2. Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with plant managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally
  • Maintain proactive communication throughout quoting, fulfillment, and after-sales stages
  • Support long-term customer retention and repeat business initiatives

3. Internal Collaboration
  • Communicate customer needs, field insights, and product opportunities to internal teams
  • Work closely with Production, R&D, Logistics, and Administration to support accurate order fulfillment
  • Participate in team initiatives, including product development feedback and joint venture assessments
  • Follow company processes, documentation standards, and communication guidelines

4. Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate CRM entries reflecting all customer activity, visits, quotes, and follow-up actions
  • Prepare regular status updates including pipeline health, activity metrics, and progress toward goals
  • Maintain current product knowledge and ensure sales materials are up to date
  • Complete all administrative requirements accurately and on time
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate — Qualifications & Attributes:

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, marketing, engineering, materials science, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment

Skills & Competencies (Critical for Success at JAMMBCO)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High organizational discipline; able to manage multiple priorities reliably
  • Comfortable working in industrial settings and conducting site visits
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate quotes, proposals, and documentation
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting deadlines
  • Professional, reliable, and able to represent the company with integrity and consistency

Additional Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel (30–55%), including internationally and it will include overnight and occasional weekend travel
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to fly commercially
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
